At Kingston University, all students have the possibility of studying a language through the Kingston Language Scheme (KLS) for free.  However, for some languages, you will be required to pay for the core textbook at the time of enrolment. For other languages, although no payment is required at the time of enrolment, students will need to purchase the core textbook independently once classes start. Please check individual language for details.

Some of the Spanish modules will follow the blended learning approach (combination of face-to face at Penrhyn Road and virtual online classes via MS Teams), whilst others will be delivered fully face to face or fully online. Please ensure you select the correct class.

Before enrolling, please make sure your timetable allows you to attend the sessions.

The modules consist of two-hour weekly language classes where you will learn or develop linguistic skills in speaking, reading, listening and writing. KLS modules are non-credited, they do not affect your final degree classification but for successfully completed modules it will show on your transcripts.

Please note: a minimum of 10 students is required in order for a course to run. Should any course not recruit enough students, it will be cancelled.
