Toxicology Lab Testing

KAST offers blood sample tests for alcohol and drugs for the purpose of Section 5 and 5a of the Road Traffic Act 1988. Results aim to be returned within 30 days and are accompanied by an expert forensic report (Section 9 Witness statement) issued by our ISO/IEC 17025:2017 accredited laboratory*.

Expedited Service (14 Day TRT)

KAST is temporarily suspending our expedited service offerings until further notice. Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions

During this holiday season, we aim to return your results within 30 days upon receipt of the sample at the laboratory. Should we foresee any delay in the return of your results, you will be contacted.

 Please be advised that KAST will not be accepting samples to our post room between December 17^th and January 5^th. We kindly request that you DO NOT send samples during this time, as there will be no facilities available to process deliveries. You are, however, still welcome to purchase your test during this period. To ensure the integrity of your sample, please store it in the fridge until shipping resumes. Our post room will reopen and begin accepting samples again from January 5^th. 

 KAST accepts no responsibilities for samples that go missing or are delayed in transit with Royal Mail or other couriers during this period, especially if they are left unrefrigerated.

Should you require a quicker turnaround time (TRT), we offer an expedited service on the options below. Please note, our turnaround times are based on the date of sample receipt at the laboratory.
